TS 1478 EN 124 Standard
The standard titled "Manhole Covers and Gully Tops for Vehicular and Pedestrian Areas - Design Requirements, Type Testing, Marking, Quality Control" specifies the characteristics that closure and cover devices used in areas exposed to pedestrian and/or vehicular traffic must meet. It covers construction principles, type tests, marking, and quality control.Scope of the Standard: This standard encompasses cover and closure devices with a clear opening of up to 1000 mm (inclusive) that are installed in areas exposed to pedestrian and/or vehicular traffic.
